Will the item I receive be the same as the images?

Yes, all the items on our website are photographed and listed with as much detail as possible. The item that is listed for sale is the exact item you will receive.

Does my purchase come with a warranty?

As the item will be antique or vintage and of used condition we are unable to provide a warranty for any item. All items listed for sale will be thoroughly checked and any defects or marks will be detailed within the item description. Please be sure to read the description and view the images carefully.

How can I pay for my purchase?

You can pay for your purchase by debit/credit card via PayPal or via bank transfer direct to our account. You do not need to have a PayPal account to make a payment via debit/credit card.

Why is the carriage weight more than the item weight?

The item weight stated within the description is the weight of the item before packaging. We use varying sizes and weights of packaging to reduce the risk of damage in transit. The weight quoted during checkout is the combined weight of the item and packaging and the charge is applied accordingly.

How soon will I receive my item?

We aim to dispatch your order within 2 working days of receiving cleared payment. We use Hermes couriers to deliver our parcels and you should expect to receive your order within 3-5 days of dispatch date. You will be provided with a tracking number once your order is dispatched.

My parcel has arrived damaged, what can I do?

Please contact us via email (within 24 hours of delivery) and let us know. It may be possible for us to make a claim for damage in transit with the carrier (subject to the carriers terms & conditions).

My parcel has not arrived, what should I do?

We use a fully tracked delivery service and you will be provided with a tracking number to follow the progress of your delivery. In the unlikely event of non delivery (within the specified timescale) please contact us via email (within 24 hours of delivery) and let us know. It may be possible for us to make a claim for loss in transit with the carrier (subject to the carriers terms & conditions).

We are not always available to answer the telephone, an answering service is available at all times. Emails are normally responded to within 4 hours and always on the same day.

Do you buy items?

Yes we do. We are available at the antiques emporium on selected days or by appointment to view/purchase items. Please bear in mind that we will be buying to re-sell and as such any offer we make will be less than retail price and free of sentimental attachment. If the item you wish to sell is not something we specifically deal in, we will be happy to pass your details (with your consent) to one of the other dealers within the emporium.
